Theresa Porter, MSW, LICSW, one of our clinical experts, employs a solution-focused and strength-based approach in her treatment process. She has been active in the social work field since 1991, providing expert counseling to both the public and private sectors. Trained to provide EMDR therapy, Theresa focuses on finding ways to help you gain control of your life. She helps her patients in the areas of domestic violence, abuse, anger management, issues in marriage (traditional/non-traditional), children and families, depression and other struggles that get in the way of enjoying a harmonious, purposeful life.
Dean M. Beck, MSW, LICSW, has worked in the public and private sectors for over 20 years. He is certified in Psychodrama and uses these techniques, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to help his clients make significant changes in their lives. His expertise includes working with adults, adolescents, families, and couples who are struggling with depression, ADHD, anxiety, conduct disorders, anger issues, family struggles, and personality disorders. He facilitates individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
Patty Teagle, MS, LPCC, works with adults and adolescents who are dealing with depression and anxiety, along with other emotional and relationship difficulties. She is trained to offer EMDR Therapy to address a variety of struggles. Additionally, Patty has a passion for working with women who are on their way to becoming mothers. Whether it be struggles with infertility, pregnancy loss, or emotional struggles that begin after the baby is born, Patty has the specialized training to effectively work with women or couples to better cope with these issues.

Tessa Sicble, MS, LPC, works with adolescents through adults to address the stresses of day-to-day life, including anxiety and depression. She has experience in providing support to families of children with genetic conditions and special health care needs. Tessa also provides support to individuals experiencing vicarious trauma (those impacted by providing services to individuals experiencing traumas) or compassion fatigue. Prior to working at NuVation Health Services, Tessa spent twenty years providing advocacy to victims of domestic and sexual violence. In addition to her Bismarck office, Tessa provides outreach services in Fort Yates.
Monique Pederson, MS, LPC, is experienced in working with individual, couple, and family counseling to address the stress of anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. She focuses on empowerment with her clients to help them overcome personal obstacles, and to improve their daily lives. Monique is passionate about engaging people in the process of positive change and strives to help individuals achieve their personal life goals.

Amy Ham, MS, LAPC, is experienced in working with children and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment, and other day-to-day struggles. She utilizes her training in art, play, and sand tray therapies to enhance the processing of events in the child's life. Additionally, Amy offers individual, couples, and family counseling, where she is passionate about engaging strength-based and person-centered approaches to helping clients.
